Lisa Kraft is currently the Associate Director of the English Language Institute at Pace University, which includes the Intensive English, the Pre-Undergraduate, Pre-Graduate, and Saturday programs. Besides managing day to day issues of ELI NYC, Lisa also works on program-wide projects, including marketing and recruitment, improving the curriculum and developing new programs. She has received two Learning Assessment Grants from the Office of the President at Pace University.
Lisa Kraft has been working in the TESOL field for the past 16 years. After receiving an MA in TESOL from TEacher's College, Columbia University, she spent the next 3 years teaching English in South Korea for the Samsung Corporation and Korea University to corporate executives and university students respectively. Soon after, she moved to Turkey where she taught English at Isik University in Istanbul. At Isik University, she coordinated the Listening Skill curriculum. She wrote curricula, supervised listening instructors and designed the program's listening-skill exit exams.
